Little pots of Gold!!
Just a little fun I had . Green dyed cupcakes, with mint flavor and chocolate icing. Pots of gold are just made out of fondant!

The Beer Can Cake

This is a cake I made for my uncle! He was so surprised, he loved it. The cake is just a simple white ( boxed...shhh don't tell ) cake. I baked 3 6 inch circle cakes, cut into 3 layers with butter cream in between the layers. Then, with it all stacked up, I cut about a 1/4 of the cake off so it would lay flat. The fondant was put on then panted silver with luster dust and vodka. I simply printed off the Coors Light logo and cut it out then placed it on top of the red fondant ( colored with food coloring ) and then cut it out! HOWEVER, use  lots of icing sugar when doing this, the paper DOES stick to the fondant!! Then I just placed it on and added some white and then black icing around it so it looked 3D!

A Purse you can EAT!

My very first molded cake! I was so proud of myself after I finished this. Not going to lie I wasn't too sure if I was going to succeed. The cake is my red velvet recipe (pls see Vegas cake for the link to the recipe) I had so much fun doing this cake!

However I did have to do some research on how to actually mold the cake, and that is where YouTube came in handy, and than I just embellished a little after a kind of got the hang of it. The client actually thought her daughter had bought her a red purse for her birthday, and kept asking " is it real?". She found out when she took a bite! :D

Drunken Cupcakes

Guinness and Baileys cupcakes I made for New Years Eve! These where awesome, my friends and I couldn't get enough of them! They are very simple to make, however the cupcake does require some stove top usage. You can find the recipe here:http://www.nibbledish.com/people/j6tran/recipes/guinness-cupcakes-with-baileys-buttercream.

BTW this is a very good site for recipes.
